Terms of Use
Draft – to be reviewed before launch.
Last updated: 8 November 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses Affect – guests and members (@s).
1. Operator
Jennifer Dürlewanger (Affect). Postal address: see Imprint.info@jenniferanger.com
2. Becoming an @
You need to be at least 18 years old. Every application is reviewed by hand. There is no right to be accepted; if we decline, we tell you why and you may apply again later.
Your information must be true and your own. One profile per person.
3. Your work
You keep all rights to the work you upload. You confirm that you own these rights or have permission to show the work.
You allow Affect, free of charge and non-exclusively, to show your work and profile on Affect for as long as your profile exists. When you delete it, we remove your work.
4. How we treat each other
No unlawful, offensive or misleading content, no spam, no advertising for other platforms, no copying of other members’ work or contact details.
We may hide content or suspend profiles that break these terms.
5. Collabs, mentoring calls and workshops
Affect connects you by e-mail. Any agreement – about time, place, price or payment – is made directly between you and the member. Affect is not a party to it.
6. Commissions
Commissions go through Affect. The client pays the creative’s price; Affect keeps 20% of it for finding the client and running the project, and the creative receives 80%. Affect is the client’s only contact during the project.
Affect takes a 20% commission on every project introduced through Affect. This applies to members who are open to commissions and to the clients who ask for them.
Invoicing: Affect invoices the client for the full price. The creative invoices Affect for their 80% and is paid within 10 days of Affect receiving the client’s payment.
7. Leaving Affect
You can delete your profile at any time. We may end a membership if these terms are broken, after telling you why.
8. Liability
We take care to keep Affect running and correct, but cannot guarantee it. As far as the law allows, Affect is not liable for agreements between users or for content uploaded by them.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; members are informed of important changes by e-mail.
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is the operator’s seat, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
